The 42nd Annual Fredonia Farm Festival parade grand marshal was Richard Feinen. Feinen, a third

mother Mary were instrumental in expanding the farms, and Richard
continued the family tradition after graduating from Fredonia High School
Richard currently farms over 250 acres, specializing in grape vineyards,
peaches, and season vegetables. His farming has been in the mainstay with
the Feinen Fruit Stand located on the corner of Route 39 and Route 20, as
well as a stand at the weekly Farmers Market in Fredonia.
Richard, who remains active in the Sheridan community where he lives with
his wife of 43 years, Marcia, is currently serving his fourth term as
councilman for the Town of Sheridan and has been active in the Sheridan Fire Department in numerous capacities for the last 38 years. Richard enhoys spending time with his family including his children and grandchildren which have all stayed in the local area.
